Swiss Blockchain Hackathon partners with Certifaction to issue blockchain-secured crypto certificates to over 200 hackers from 19 countries.

Fake certificates are a common occurrence in this modern age where manipulation software can be easily used to quickly alter documents. This makes it incredibly easy for people to present falsified or fake credentials in order to pass the minimum requirements during an application.

In an effort to fight fraud, Trustsquare and Certifaction have partnered together to issue 100% tamperproof and instantly verifiable blockchain certificates through their blockchain-solution, Certifaction.

During the Swiss Blockchain Hackathon 2019, where over 200 hackers representing 19 countries competed over a weekend, Certifaction issued blockchain-certified participation certificates to each hacker.

Receiving the certificate via email, the hackers can now easily distribute their certificate and allow the recipient to verify them instantly on Certifaction’s verification page. The beauty is that no prior blockchain knowledge is required, making the process quick and easy for the average user.
